Media Filtrasi Ketika kandungan TSS outlet yang diinginkan kurang dari 10 mg/l, sementara masih ada partikel TSS yang tidak terendapkan di clarifier sehingga TSS masih tinggi. Maka diperlukan treatment lanjutan yaitu Filtrasi.  Filtrasi ada 2 macam, yaitu  - Media Filter yang menggunakan media bed di dalam vessel. - Ultrafiltration yang menggunakan membrane. Beberapa jenis Media filter. Sand filter (SF) menggunakan media sand silica dan gravel, bertujuan untuk menangkap TSS dan turbidity.  Activated Carbon Filter (ACF) menggunakan media activated carbon, bertujuan untuk menangkap zat-zat organik, warna dan bau.  Iron Filter (IF) menggunakan media Manganese Greensand untuk menangkap kandungan besi dan atau mangan. Membrane Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane Reverse Osmosis (RO) adalah komponen pemurnian air yang memisahkan bahan yang berukuran kurang dari 0,001 μm seperti pemisahan garam monovalen dari air, seperti yang dipraktikkan dalam desalinasi air laut dan air payau. Membran RO biasanya mampu menghilangkan 90% - 99% kontaminan seperti total padatan terlarut (TDS) dalam pasokan air.
